OCT 20, 2003 (newstodate): The Council of Ministers of Bosnia-Herzegovina has now appointed the top leadership of its civil aviation authorities.
This comes after a lengthy and delayed process, which led the European Commission to suspend the EC/ICAO Institution Building Project.
Djordje Ratkovica is now appointed Director General of the Directorate for Civil Aviation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with Djelal Hasecic as Deputy Director General and Head of the Regulatory Division.
Marinko Simunovic has been appointed Deputy Director General and Head of the Air Navigation Division, and the country thus now commands the necessary and properly organized administrative machinery to supervise its airspace, and to plan the expansion of the domestic management of its upper airspace.
