OCT 15, 2003 (newstodate): Swedish provider of temperature-controlled containers for the air cargo industry, Envirotainer sees great prospects for the industry from the recently announced cooperation on "life sciences" between DHL Danzas and Lufthansa Cargo.
-This partnership will clearly become a very exciting player in the industry for logistics solutions to the life science industry, says Magnus Welander, Envirotainer CEO.
-We enjoy a long-standing relationship with both partners and also participated at the recent Danzas/DHL Life Science event as one of their key suppliers. We expect to be a key partner to the new joint venture also, and look forward to working with them to met the demands of the life science customers for temperature sensitive air cargo transports, he says.
-Our strategic alliance with Sensitech, announced earlier this year, was based on both company managements' seeing the benefits of Envirotainer and Sensitech uniting R&D efforts to produce even better solutions to the life science industry, Welander says.
