OCT 01, 2003 (newstodate): SWISS WorldCargo has secured continued access to freight capacity with external partners in an effort to fight off the effects from the cuts in SWISS airline operations.
Among the significant short-term developments is an extended agreement with Korean Airlines, securing access to not only the Korean freighters from New York to Basel and between Europe and Korea, but also to belly-hold capacity on Korean's passenger services from Seoul to Zurich.
In addition an agreement has been signed with Japan Airlines, granting access to cargo capacity on the JAL routes from Tokyo to Zurich.
