NOV 19, 2003 (newstodate): China Airlines Cargo is further flexing its muscles by resuming, from November 26, its freighter service to Delhi.
Earlier this year the company opened freighter services to Ho Chi Minh City and Manchester.
The thrice-weekly Boeing 747-400F service will operate, on two of the flights, on the routing Taipei-Delhi-Manchester-Amsterdam-Abu Dhabi-Taipei, and on the routing Taipei-Delhi-Manchester-Abu Dhabi-Taipei on the third flight.
China Airlines operated the Delhi cargo service from 1999 till 2001, when operations were suspended due to the war in Afghanisatn.
The company operates a total of 15 freighter aircraft, including two Boeing 747-400F to be followed by additionally four more aircraft of this type.
