Overall passenger revenue kilometres were up one percent, year on year, while cargo tonne-kilometres increased by 2.9 percent.
Year on year growth for the overall international freight market continues to slow slightly, at 5.5 percent as compared to six percent in August and 6.4 percent in July.
The Middle East region continues to be highest freight growth market at 15.2 percent, followed by Africa, up 9.4 percent over September 2002.
Europe, up only 2.1 percent, remains the region with the lowest growth in FTK.
