NOV 18, 2003 (newstodate): Scandinavian budget airline, Sterling has accepted its first of four winglet-equipped Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
The aircraft will enter service from December 1, serving routes from Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm.
The next three aircraft will join the fleet during next spring, and from May 2004, Sterling's fleet will comprise a total of 13 aircraft, including 10 Boeing 737-800, one Boeing 737-700 and another two Boeing 737-700 still under negotiation with Boeing.
