NOV 28, 2003 (newstodate): New Swedish budget airline, FlyMe that will start operations by the first quarter in 2004 is now recruiting cabin and cockpit staff.
By deadline, 2,000 applicants, including 400 pilots now to compete for 25 positions, and the rest going for one of the 50 cabin crew jobs, had registered, the airline says.
FlyMe will initially operate Boeing 737 aircraft on domestic routes, later expanding into Scandinavia and Europe.
