NOV 28, 2003 (newstodate): SWISS WorldCargo is on the tracks in implementation of its quality improvement plan based on the Cargo 2000 standards.
Since August 2003 three stations, Frankfurt, Zurich, and Brusse, have acquired the certification for Phase 1 of the project, producing an increase to 97 percent of cargo flown as booked.
The Phase 1 implementation plan is currently underway in 11 additional sites, which will bring the total number of certified stations to 14 in the next few months: Zurich, Brussels, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Paris, Hong Kong, New York JFK, Los Angeles, London Heathrow, Milan, Tokyo, Chicago, Singapore, and Montreal.
