NOV 18, 2003 (newstodate): For the ninth year running, Volga-Dnepr is part of the annual efforts to flood the Japanese market with sour Beaujolais grapes.
The airline operates two Antonov 124-100 freighter flights from Shataru in France to Narita and Kansai airports in Japan, carrying more than 100 tonnes of Beaujolais Noveau wine.
The long haul requires the flights to be operated with three stops in Russia in
Ulyanovsk, Novosibirsk and Komsomoiskna-Amure.
