DEC 10, 2003 (newstodate): On November 26th, several Cool Chain Association-members met in Frankfurt to form what is now known as the "Hamburg Committee", headed by Germanischer Lloyd, who will be the auditing body of CCA.
The objective of the Hamburg Group, who will meet first time in January 2004 and thereafter monthly, is to produce a CCA Manual, which shall include defined and measurable KPI's, benchmarking process, functional training manual including a process to measure proficiency audit schedule, compulsory company internal procedures in order to qualify for accreditation, and fee schedule for audit, qualification announcement.
This tangible result of the work of the group, the manual will become available from May 24, 2004, at the AGM of the association.
