DEC 04, 2003 (newstodate): Ansett International has agreed to the lease of four Boeing 737 aircraft to be operated by new Swedish budget airline, FlyMe.
In addition, FlyMe has taken yet another step towards its launch by receiving a temporary AOC from the Swedish Luftfartsverket, allowing it to apply for traffic rights and slots at airports.
The lease agreement with Ansett will be signed by the end of December, initially for a three-year period.
FlyMe plans to take to the air in the first quarter of next year, initially operating on two major Swedish domestic routes.
