DEC 09, 2003 (newstodate): After a prolonged period of uncertainty in the throat of the glova crisis in civil aviation, Fokker is seeing a new life for its Fokker 50 and Fokker 100 aircraft.
Following in the launch of the FUTURE100 and FUTURE50 programmes in February and May 2003, respectively, a total of 81 aircraft have now migrated to new owners, including 60 Fokker 100s and 21 Fokker 50s, the company says.
Also 16 Fokker 100 operators, with a total of 102 aircraft, are now making use of the Fokker Services programmes for logistics services to support the Fokker 100 aircraft.
