DEC 15, 2003 (newstodate): Newcomer to Berlin Schoenefeld Airport, FERAS Germany GmbH and Lufthansa Bombardier Aviation Services GmbH have announced a strategic alliance to serve business aircraft operators at the airport.
LBAS, the only factory-owned maintenance facility for Bombardier Business Aircraft in Europe, provides facilities for heavy maintenance for the entire Bombardier line of Business Aircraft including Learjet, Challenger and Global Express, while FERAS, represented
throughout Eastern Europe, has recently obtained license to provide passenger and cargo handling at Berlin Schoenefeld.
A US corporation, FERAS' primary focus is European and Russia/CIS ground handling operations. FERAS is also present at 30 airports in Russia/CIS.
The new joint service was introduced from December 12.
