DEC 02, 2003 (newstodate): FBO company, Executive Aircraft Handling, a subsidiary of Aviation Service at Prague Ruzyne Airport, has just been granted its license from the Czech authorities to add aircraft handling services.
-Right now we are constrained to offer aircraft parking in our hangars, but we expect to add aircraft handling from January, 2004, says Libor Matousek, Aviation Service handling manager.
Initially, the company remains limited by the authorities to handle aircraft up to 20 tonnes MOW, but Matousek expects this limitation to be removed shortly, allowing the company to handle larger aircraft like the Gulfstream etc.
Aviation Service moved from Morava to Prague four years ago, and offers its service to corporate and state customers.
-We are seing the market slowly up and expect a major break-through with the Czech Republic's entry into the EU, Matousek says.
Other Aviation Service activities, long established in the market, include maintenance and avionics services.
