DEC 17, 2003 (newstodate): Effective from September, 2004, the CASS processing center at London will move to Russelheim, near Frankfurt.
From this date, the new global CASS center will take in all CASS data processing on a country-by-country basis, starting with the Nordic CASS statistics.
The global integration of all CASS data will also enable CASS to introduce service novelties such as the ability to provide statistics on import volumes as data on all air cargo flows on IATA carriers will by then be available within one single unified database.
Among other new services that will be introduced by CASS is online data access by subscribers and members, enabling for instance forwarders to monitor near real-time rates for invoicing purposes etc.
