Copenhagen, FEB 07, 2003 (newstodate): Lithuanian Airlines reported a seven percent decline in total cargo volumes in 2002 According to the airlines cargo manager, Andrejus Trimailovas, the decline is due to a nine percent cut in the airlines routes and flights in 2002, and the effects from the general world economic down-turn.-Considering the risk of sustained economic problems, and a possible war in Iraq we have now down-rated our expectations for an increase by 10 percent in total volumes this year as current cancellations of routes and flights may be sustained for a longer period, Trimailovas says.
