MAR 18, 2003 (newstodate): In anticipation of a war in the Middle East, and the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO)'s travel advice advising against travel to Kuwait and advising British nationals to leave Kuwait urgently, BA announces their decision to stop flights to Kuwait and Tel Aviv as from MAR 19.
The company says BA flights to Bahrain, Doha, Jeddah, Dubai and Riyadh will continue to operate via Larnaca in Cyprus. Flights to Muscat will remain suspended temporarily, while flights will re-commence from London via Larnaca to Abu Dhabi with effect from MAR 19.
