MAR 18, 2003 (newstodate): SAS Cargo has warned the market it will not be able to sustain priority product standards or money-back guarantee in case of a war in Iraq.
-In the event of a war in Iraq SAS Cargo expects irregularities in its traffic system worldwide, which may affect agents and customers
adversely, SAS Cargo says in a statement.
In consequence SAS Cargo cannot maintain its time guarantee for the SAS Priority product and
will temporarily release itself of the money-back guarantee as published.
Moreover, SAS Cargo is subject to the Warsaw Convention as amended, which prescribes that during an act of war or an armed conflict the company is not liable for any damage, loss or delay resulting therefrom.
