MAR 17, 2003 (newstodate): Danish specialised forwarder, Mah� Freight has been contracted by Unicef to ship 45 tonnes of relief equipment for positioning close to Iraq.
The flight is planned to leave from Billund Airport today for Qaheremanshar, Iran.
-The Ukrainian aircraft will fly emergency equipment including blankets, plastic sheets into the area, says Jorgen Jessen, Mah� Freight relief manager.
According to Jessen, this is the first relief flight in preparation for a potential war in Iraq.
