APR 14, 2003 (newstodate): Austrian Airlines has decided on a range of cost-cutting measures to fight off the immediate effects of the crisis in the aviation industry after Iraq war and SARS.
Overall production was reduced by 11 % in April, while approximately 10 % of scheduled flights will be removed from the programme in May.
Among the destinations to be axed is Tallinn, which has already been reduced in frequencies, and will be finally laid off by the end of June, according to the airline.
