APR 29, 2003 (newstodate): Estonian carrier, Enimex, plans to a add a longhaul freighter aircfraft later this year.
Enimex currently operates a fleet of five AN-72 freighters after having phased out its earlier IL-76 aircraft due to the EU noise ban on this type.
Enimex' aircraft are currently operating out of Hahn and UK airports on lease and charter contracts with operators, with one aircraft serving UN in Afghanistan.
-We will add one DC-10 freighter this year based on a contract with a customer, and excess capacity will be made available to the market through GSAs yet to be appointed, says Alexey Lubidsky, Enimex.
According to Lubidsky, the proposed DC-10F will serve the Europe-Far East air cargo maerket.
