APR 30, 2003 (newstodate): Lithuanian Airlines is now to re-design its future after failing to attract bidders to its privatization programme.
SAS decided on Friday to retreat its offer, as did Finnair at an earlier stage.
Alminas Maciulis, secretary of the Lithuanian Transport Ministry, has told Lithuanian press that "Recommendations will now be worked out on how the air company could operate under those conditions without expecting an investor for the immediate future".
