MAY 12, 2003 (newstodate): Taking effect from May 1, Dutch GSA, Air Cargo Trader has acqquired Scandinavian company, ScanPartners through a friendly take-over.
Bo Seidelin, currently ScanPartners assistent director, has been named new managing director, succeeding the company's founder and CEO, Kim Bo Petersen, who will continue as consultant to the company for a three month period after his sale to ACT, and retain a set on the Board.
-After a reassesment of all inhouse resources we will probably add staff to handle the new tasks, says Seidelin.
Like ScanPartners, its new owner ACT is a member of PACT.
ACT's owner and CEO, Onno Wiersma, will take up his seat as chairman of the Board of ScanPartners.
