MAY 15, 2003 (newstodate): Taking effect from this month, Air Atlanta Icelandic has signed a twelve month contract with Universal Airlines, based in Guyana, to provide a Boeing 767-300ER aircraft.
The contract includes flight deck and cabin crew, maintenance engineers and operations staff.
Air Atlanta Icelandic, operating 16 Boeing 747s, including six freighters, three Boeing 757s and eight Boeing 767 aircraft, provides extra capacity for airlines on short or long term contracts.
This summer the company's aircraft will operate at 12 bases in nine countries including Argentina, Dominican Republic, France, Germany, Guyana, Ireland, Malaysia, Netherlands and Gatwick, Manchester, Glasgow and Manston in the United Kingdom.
