MAY 08, 2003 (newstodate) Airbus has started construction work on facilities at Hamburg to handle A380 production.
The Airbus plant at Hamburg will be responsible for outfitting the A380 cabin to airline customer demands.
The new hall will be 370 me long and 100 m side, with bays for four A380 aircraft simultaneously.
The procces of customising the cabins will be about 20 days per unit, and the new plant is designed to produce 48 aircraft per year.
