Mail volumes generated a total of 10,814 tonnes, up 32.3 percent.
Air cargo volumes remained almost unchanged, but developed substantially better than both the market as a whole and the Group's main European competitors, saus Austrian Airlines.
Due primarily to the capacity expansion on services from and to Asia, revenue in this segment increased more than transport services overall. As a result, revenue in the report period rose by 7.4 % to EUR 122.6m, the highest level ever recorded in Austrian's history.
At the same time, #Austrian reduced its total costs per ton carried by 2.8 percent.
