MAY 19, 2003 (newstodate): In this year's Q1, British World Cargo saw its cargo revenues down by 7.5 percent, to GBP111 million, while cargo revenues during the fiscal year ending March 31 was up 0.2 percent, to GBP484 million.
BAWC carried a total of 182,000 tonnes in Q1, down 1.6 percent, while the company generated a total of 764,000 tonnes of cargo during the fiscal year, up 1.2 percent.
Cargo yield was down 6.2 percent to 11.20 pence in Q1, and down four percent to 11.50 pence during the year.
