MAY 02, 2003 (newstodate) SAS has anounced a new top leadership to lead a new airline organisation.
The new organization is a feature of the improvement program, Plan C, based on the SAS Group's requirement that each operation within the Group achieve sustainable profitability and competitiveness.
The implementation of the new organization will produce a surplus of administrative staff included in the 4,000 excess employees announced earlier.
As part of the reorganisation, the three Scandinavian countries will revive their national revenue responsibility.
Heading SAS Airline in Denmark is Susanne Larsen, in Norway Stein Nilsen, and in Sweden Anders Ehrling.
Among the positions yet to be filled is the manager for SAS' intercontinental lines.
