MAY 27, 2003 (newstodate): SAS Cargo mulls plans for increasing its sales activities in Eastern and Central Europe.
-We have set up a task force in Prague to analyse the markets of countries including Slovakia, Croatia and the ex-Yugoslav countries. On the basis of this market survey we will decide on how to increase our presence in the markets, says Jarl Frithiof, SAS Cargo vp international sales.
The new business opportunities are spurred by the emergence of new routes between Scandinavia and destinations including Pristina, operated by SAS Airline´s new low-cost subsidiary, snowflake since March 30.
