MAY 06, 2003 (newstodate): The European Investment Bank has approved a euro 100 million loan to Serbia earmarked for improving Serbia's traffic control over the next few years.
The loan will enable Serbia to adjust the policy of "open Skies" and ragain control over the Kosovo-Metohija air space.
This will be of national and economic significance to Serbia, and boost revenue from overflight fees.
Serbia will invest in modern ATM equipment to enhance safety and increase the capacity of its air space, allowing for more overflights
