MAY 20,l 2003 (newstodate): On May 16, Boeing landed an order worth USD78 million with Turkmenistan Airlines for two Boeing 717-200 aircraft .
With the new order, the airline will operate a fleet of five aircraft of this type for domestic and regional routes.
The aircraft, which will be configured for 120 passengers, are scheduled for delivery next year.
The new 717s will join Turkmenistan's fleet of three Boeing 717-200, three 737-300 and four 757-200 airplanes.
