take delivery of its first new generation AN-124-100M freight aircraft in 2004, the company says in a statement.
The new, modified aircraft, the 10th AN-124 in the Russian airline's fleet, will have an increased payload capacity to 150 tonnes and a enhanced MTOW of 402 tonnes.
The first AN-124-100M aircraft will be equipped with the most modern avionics, including Orlan 8.33 KHz-spaced VHF radios, TCAS, RVSM system, BRNAV-5 system of zone navigation for accuracy of the aircraft location, and a TAWS early ground warning system.
