JUL 16, 2003 (newstodate): Kazakhstani airline, Air Astana, is seeing problems with its Boeing 737-700/-800 fleet.
On July 15, one of the airline's three Boeings returned to Almaty on a flight to Aktau after meeting problems with the landing gear. This was actually the second incident at the same airport with the same aircraft on the same route.
The airline took in its three Boeing aircraft in May, 2002, and one aircraft has already been sent to Amsterdam for landing gear repair.
