JUL 22, 2003 (newstodate): Emirates has now started operations on its new route between Dubai and Moscow, operating at Domodedovo Int'l airport.
Initially, Emirates flies five times a week with A330-200 aircraft, but Emirates plans to further develop its network and will introduce a daily scheduled flights from this winter already.
According to industry sources, the airline is also considering a possibility to launch flights to other destinations in Russia and CIS.
With the new route, Emirates SkyCargo offers some 15 tonnes of cargo capacity in each direction.
