JUL 24, 2003 (newstodate): Unicef has scheduled two freighter flights to take a total of 125 tonnes of relief shipments from Billund Airport to Baghdad International Airport.
The first flight, arriving in Baghdad on Thursday morning, is operated with a Boeing 747-200F, chartered from MK Airlines and lifting a total of 93 tonnes, while the next flights is operated one day later with a DC-8-55 aircraft, also chartered from MK Airlines and lifting 32 tonnes.
The shipments comprise emergency health kits from Unicef's logistics center at Copenhagen, and both flights are scheduled to be nonstop direct flights.
