AUG 18, 2003 (newstodate): Khabarovsk-based Russian airline Dalavia Airways has signed an agreement with Thai International Airways to promote traffic between Eastern Russia and Thailand.
The agreement covers a Bilateral Interline Traffic Agreement as well as a Special Prorate Agreement.
The agreement between Dalavia Airways and THAI is expected to boost overall tourist arrivals from Russia which is currently around 70,000 visitors per year, according to a statement isued by the parties.
THAI already has bilateral interline traffic agreements with three Russian airlines including Aeroflot Russian Airlines, Siberia Airlines, and Vladivostok Air.
