AUG 22, 2003 (newstodate): From August 25, Danish in-night distribution company, DAN'X A/S, plans to expand its services to include Sweden and, from September, Norway.
Shipments of spare parts will be picked up in Germany late in the afternoon and delivered in most of Sweden during the following night, often directly into the car trunk of the service technician.
-During the last 10 years we have build up a unique system in Denmark, delivering 8-14,000 parcels to almost 2,000 fixed destinations during the night. With a market share at more than 80 percent, a Nordic expansion is crucial in order to continue our organic growth, says Soren Gonge, DAN'X ceo and founder.
