AUG 25, 2003 (newstodate): From September 2, KLM Cargo will increase frequency on the freighter route Amsterdam-Shanghai from one to four weekly flights.
-The routes will be operated with the new Boeing 747-400ER aircraft, which will be able to operate direct flights without re-fuelling at Almaty which is currently the case with the once-weekly flight, says Soren Rorstrom, KLM Cargo manager Denmnark.
Rorstrom says Almaty will then be served instead by the freighter from Amsterdam to Osaka, calling at Almay twice weekly from September 2.
