AUG 13, 2003 (newstodate): From September 3, Polar Air plans to introduce a once-weekly Liege-Gothenburg-Liege Boeing 747-400F freighter service.
-After its landing in Liege on the return flight, the same aircraft will continue on Polar's new route, from August 20, from Liege to Incheon, South Korea, and further to Taipei, Taiwan, returning from there the same way back again, says Johnny Alfredsson, PAL Sweden, Polar's GSA in Sweden.
Alfredsson says that if the new loop between Liege and Gothenburg proves a success, the frequency will probably be doubled.
Polar already operates two weekly flights at Gothenburg, one to New York, and another to Chicago.
