AUG 06, 2003 (newstodate): Slovenian logistics and forwarding group, Intereuropa recorded a strong year in 2002, with net sales revenues up by 18 percent, profits from ordinary activities up by 58 percent, and net profits up by 33 percent, year-on-year.
Also Intereuropa came out as Slovenia's undisputed No 1 air freight forwarder on IATA's list in 2002 with a turnover at 2.47 mio US dollars.
Intereuropa extended its activities in Serbia and Montenegro, and started construction of a new logistics terminal in Belgrade, which has now become operational.
New logistics terminals were opened in Skopje, including new business premises, and in Sarajevo-based Intereuropa RTC d.d.
Intereuropa's subsidiaries in Croatia were merged into Intereuropa Logistical Services, d.o.o., Zagreb, now becoming a leading provider of logistics in Croatia.
In 2002, Intereuropa also acquired the Czech companies STTC d.d. Maribor and SPEKA spol. s r.o., in Prague, and established the companies Intereuropa IT d.o.o., Koper and Intereuropa Transport d.o.o., Koper.
