AUG 12, 2003 (newstodate): After the change of power in Liberia, UN is now returning to the country, and prospects are high for subtantial relief operations to bring food and other supplies into the country.
-Already last week we actually sent two DC-8 freighters into Monrovia from UK with relief shipments from Unicef, says Jorgen Jessen, Mahe Freight relief manager.
According to Mr Jessen, Mahe will also charter a SAS-Air DC-10 to fly relief shipments, primarily food and water rinsing equipment, into Monrovia from Ostende on Thursday or Friday, also on behalf of Unicef.
