SEP 09, 2003 (newstodate): The special favouring of Ryanair at Danish airport Aarhus has now forced the Danish CAA to take action.
After it has been etablished that Ryanair pays only half of the passenger charges otherwise requested by the airport from other operators, including SAS, Civil Aviation Administration - Denmark has threatened to consider withdrawal of the airport's license as a public airport.
Ryanair operates 13 weekly flights from Aarhus to London Stansted, and a daily flight from Aarhus to Stockholm Skavsta.
