sep 29, 2003 (newstodate): Effective from October 1, Polar will move its Middle East and India services from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport to Liege.
-Utilizing the full strength of our hub, we will now offer more than 25 weekly in- and outbound flights from and to the United States, Asia, the Middle East, India and the northern European countries from Liege, says Joost Viergever, Polar Air Marketing & Communication, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Indian subcontinent.
According to Viergever, Polar Air will retain some flights, especially to and from North America, at Amsterdam, but even these may be transferred to Liege at a later stage.
-Liege is growing fast in importance, and the transfer of these routes will add to fast and efficient transfer of cargo between our flights, including the recently added flight between Liege and Gothenburg, Viergever says.
