SEP 11, 2003 (newstodate): Taking effect from November 3, Post Denmark will handle, sort and deliver all DHL Express parcels in Denmark.
The agreement, anounced on September 9, does not comprise the distribution of courier mail, loose freight and international parcels, which will remain within DHL Express' own systems.
Post Denmark expects its total parcel volumes, 31 million pieces in 2002, to be boosted by this new traffic, also seeing a better utilization of resources at its parcel sorting stations with the increased volumes.
Since December 13, 1999, DHL Express has been contracted by Post Denmark to provide international express mail and parcels services.
