SEP 12, 2003 (newstodate): Following on sustained succes with its cost-cutting programs, SAS has decided to re-open new routes from Copenhagen Airport.
From November 3 SAS will re-open its route to Bologna, supended since 2001.
The route will be operated five times weekly with Boeing 737 aircraft.
From March 28, 2004, SAS will add flights on its route from Copenhagen to Athens, operating an MD80 aircraft on a daily rotation.
This route was closed down in 1999, and later served by Maersk Air in cooperation with SAS.
