JAN 26, 2004 (newstodate): To accelerate its growth in the region of Central and Eastern Europe, Exel has opened a new office at Warsaw Okecie International Airport.
From its new office, the company will provide a range of logistics services, warehouse facilities, airfreight, seafreight and customs clearance services, in addition to enhancing its road transportaiotn services in the region.
Shipments will be channelled via Exel's gateway in Frankfurt to serve the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria, the Russian Federation (Moscow, St. Petersburg and the region), the Ukraine, Croatia, Slovenia and the Baltic States, as well as Poland.
Exel's principal targeted businesses in Poland include the automotive, healthcare, technology, telecommunications, electronic and consumer retail sectors.
