OCT 27, 2004 (newstodate): -In a small growing market there will allways be constructions, which will with time develop more mature structures, says FAGS president, Helge Luehr, in a comment on newstodate's ongoing coverage of GSA culture in Lithuania.
-This discusion is part of that process. The forwarders who feel left behind will complain to the airlines represented by the GSA and treaten not to use this airlines anymore unless there is a clear division between the two departments, and the airline will in turn have a talk with the GSA.
-I know of forwarders who have tried to build up GSA themselves and there are surely some who have part in a GSA, but the other way around is not so often. In the Middle East, airlines are obliged to take on sponsors if they
want to sell their product and these become official GSA of the airlines and most of them are forwarders, says Helge Luehr.
