OCT 05, 2004 (newstodate): Members of the WOW aliance have launched a joint harmonised dangerous goods service.
From today, shipments of dangerous goods to be transported seamlessly within the WOW network operated by Japan Airlines Cargo, Singapore Airlines Cargo, Lufthansa Cargo and SAS Cargo will move based on uniform safety standards across the combined network.
-The Dangerous Goods service is the first Special Product we have harmonised following our Premium Express, Large&Heavy Express and General Cargo products. This brings us one step closer to our aim of harmonising our product portfolio, says Gabriela Kroll, Lufthansa Cargo senior vice president network management and airline alliances.
