NOV 18, 2004 (newstodate): New Star Alliance-member Adria Airways has seen a solid expansion through the first 10 months of 2004.
During this period, Adria conducted 15,960 flights a six percent increase over the same period last year and carried 773,091 passengers, up three percent on last year.
In September Adria added a sixth Canadair Regional Jet CRJ 200 aircraft to its fleet, which now numbers nine aircraft including also three Airbus A320.
In the winter time table Adria offers scheduled flights from Ljubljana to 18 European destinations, with increased frequencies on routes to Paris, Istanbul, Amsterdam and Copenhagen.
