NOV 02, 2004 (newstodate): To match the demands in the new winter program and the new acticities planned, Danish regional airline Cimber plans to expand its aircraft fleet.
The carrier currently operates five ATR-42 and five ATR 72 aircraft, and expects to incresae by a further two ATR aircraft.
Cimber also operates three CRJ200, and this will expand to a total of seven aircraft.
Cimber Air has taken over five ex-Maersk Air international routes from Billund, and has signed a wet-lease contract with SAS for operations on eight new destinations in Europe out of Copenhagen Airport besides adding own new flights from Copenhagen to Basle, Kiev and Bucharest.
